Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Christian Takes Down Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Arrowhead Christian walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since September 20th.

Arrowhead Christian was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-7, 19-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Arrowhead Christian was led to victory by Emma Miller and Charlotte Lee. Miller had 14 digs and four aces, while Lee had 11 digs. Those four aces gave Miller a new career-high.

The victory (which was Arrowhead Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 17-11. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-11.

Arrowhead Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Pacifica on the 1st. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
