Dynamic duo of Luka Vlahovic and Marcus Gillete lead Archbishop Carroll to victory

Recap: Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs vs. Coral Park Rams
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against iMater Charter, the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Monday. They put the hurt on Coral Park with a sharp 62-40 win. That 22 points margin sets a new team best for Archbishop Carroll this season.
Archbishop Carroll was led to victory by Luka Vlahovic and Marcus Gillete. Vlahovic scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Gillete scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gillete has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Pazo, who scored eight points.
Archbishop Carroll's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Coral Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will square off against Mater Academy Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coral Park, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South Dade at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. South Dade is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
