Softball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They came up short against the Mid Valley Spartans on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Mid Valley, their record is now 17-2-1.

Coming up, Riverside will take on Old Forge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mid Valley, they will square off against Honesdale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
