Basketball Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

Loretto lost against Tornillo back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Angels lost to the Coyotes on the road by a 35-21 margin.

Tornillo found their leader in sophomore Jacquelyn Leos, who posted 15 points.

Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Tornillo, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Tornillo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 32-10 defeat against El Dorado on the 6th. Hopefully Loretto paid attention to the Coyotes' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Coyotes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
