Softball Recap: Dodge City Takes a Loss

Dodge City was the 15-1 winner over Heights when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Demons lost 20-3 to the Falcons on Friday.

Macy Musslin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kiana Tasaka, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Dodge City's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dodge City beat the Falcons by a score of 16-0 later that day.
