Coldwater typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday St. John proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Cavaliers. For the Bluejays, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Cavaliers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Cam Elwer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Elwer was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Maddox Kroeger was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Aidan Swick was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

St. John's lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

St. John's is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Coldwater, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-3.

St. John's has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Fort Recovery on the 13th. As for Coldwater, they will head out to challenge Eaton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.9 runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
