Basketball Recap: Marlette Comes Up Short

Marlette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-42 to the Sandusky Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-22 back in January.

Marlette's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Sandusky, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Coming up, Marlette will square off against Capac at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sandusky, they will be playing at home against Ubly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
