Baseball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hollister on Monday, Seneca came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Mt. Vernon, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Seneca will host Galena at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mt. Vernon has already played their next contest (against Hillcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
