Basketball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Nowata Ironmen an easy 70-48 win. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 22 points.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Nowata, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Fairland the next time they take the court. Nowata will host Fairland at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025, while Commerce will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
