Football Recap: Liberty Minutemen vs. Amherst County Lancers
Friday just wasn't the day for Liberty's offense. They were dealt a 68-0 defeat at the hands of the Amherst County Lancers on Friday. The loss leaves the Minutemen without a win on the season.
Devonte Wade was his usual excellent self, rushing for 178 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries for Amherst County. The dominant performance gave Wade a new career-high in rushing yards.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Amherst County, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
As of now, neither Liberty nor Amherst County have any future games scheduled.
