Volleyball Recap: Silas Comes Up Short

If Silas was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of River Ridge last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Lakes Lancers on Tuesday. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Talynn Howard paced Silas' offense, picking up ten kills. Howard got some help from Madisin Nall and her 26 assists. Ainsley Michaelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Silas dropped their record down to 6-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lakes, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Silas has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Capital on the 9th. As for Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Central Kitsap on the 9th.
