Soccer Recap: Perquimans Comes Up Short

Perquimans lost against Gates County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Barons. Perquimans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Kevin Guerrero, who's now up to three this season.

Perquimans now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Gates County, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perquimans will challenge rival Manteo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gates County is set to face off against their familiar foe Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
