Baseball Recap: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Comes Up Short

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy fell victim to Atlantic Shores Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seahawks. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will be playing at home against Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will square off against Chase on Monday.
