Soccer Game Preview: Hialeah Gardens vs. Goleman

Hialeah Gardens is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Monday. They will host the Goleman Gators at 3:30 p.m. Goleman took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hialeah Gardens, who comes in off a win.

Hialeah Gardens' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Westland Hialeah. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Hialeah Gardens' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Westland Hialeah are ranked 474th).

Meanwhile, Goleman fell victim to JC Bermudez Doral and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder. The shutout was out of character for Goleman seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Hialeah Gardens and bumps their season record up to 9-3-1. As for Goleman, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-5.
