Basketball Game Preview: George Washington Patriots vs. Rangeview Raiders

George Washington has won six straight games at home, while Rangeview has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The George Washington Patriots will welcome the Rangeview Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

George Washington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Fairview by a score of 60-51.

Meanwhile, Rangeview's and Cherokee Trail's game on Friday was close at halftime, but Rangeview turned on the heat in the second half with 42 points. Rangeview really took it to Cherokee Trail for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-25 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

George Washington better focus on containing Kenny Black-Knox and Marceles Duncan as the pair were huge in Rangeview's win. Black-Knox shot 58% from the field on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds, while Duncan posted 14 points in addition to five boards and four steals. That's the most points Black-Knox has posted since back in December of 2024. Archie Weatherspoon V was another key player, putting up ten points.

George Washington is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Rangeview's victory bumped their record up to 24-0.
