Basketball Recap: Kaycee Comes Up Short

Kaycee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Greybull Buffaloes, falling 42-20. The Buckaroos were not able to make up for their loss to the Buffaloes from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Kaycee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Greybull, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Kaycee and Lingle-Fort Laramie will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greybull, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-26 loss against Glenrock on the 14th.
