Baseball Recap: Concord Academy Takes a Loss

Concord Academy fell victim to Metrolina Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on April 3rd.

Concord Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gray Madeira, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Concord Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1.

Concord Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Legion Collegiate Academy on the 1st. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Gaston Day on the 1st.
