Recap: Lake Catholic Cougars vs. McKinley Red Dragons
The Lake Catholic Cougars entered their tilt with the McKinley Red Dragons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lake Catholic enjoyed a cozy 35-21 victory over McKinley on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Frankie Trinetti, who threw for 293 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt. Josh Styles was another key contributor, gaining 174 total yards and a touchdown.
Lake Catholic's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.3 points per game. As for McKinley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Lake Catholic will play host again and welcome Struthers, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Struthers has played have been within five points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. McKinley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
