Basketball Recap: Archer City Comes Up Short

Archer City suffered their biggest defeat since January 26th on Friday. They had to suffer through a 63-27 loss at the hands of the Nocona Indians. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Archer City lost, don't look at Adelyn Harvey. Despite the final result, she posted eight points. What's more, Harvey also racked up four boards, the most she's had since back in January.

Archer City's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Nocona, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Archer City Wildcats duke it out with the Seymour Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nocona, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Electra at 5:00 p.m.
