Basketball Recap: Glenelg Country Takes a Loss

Glenelg Country was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fallston Cougars.

It was another big night for Brooke Bolesta, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds for Fallston. Bolesta is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Wirth, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

Glenelg Country's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fallston, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Glenelg Country has already played their next contest (against St. Paul's Girls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fallston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-34 defeat against John Carroll on the 13th.
