Volleyball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Henry Clay

If Tates Creek wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Henry Clay, they should've done a better job of containing Cooper Pugh. The Blue Devils walked away with a 3-1 win over the Commodores on Wednesday with plenty of help from Pugh, who had nine digs and three aces. He is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 19-25, 25-15.

Henry Clay pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Tates Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9-1.

Looking ahead, Henry Clay will challenge Marion County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tates Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
