Dobson hadn't done well against Mesa recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jackrabbits. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Jackrabbits on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Dobson's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-10. As for Mesa, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
