Soccer Recap: Midlothian Heritage's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Midlothian Heritage and Lovejoy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Midlothian Heritage had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards. Considering the last time Midlothian Heritage couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Midlothian Heritage's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8-2. As for Lovejoy, they pushed their record up to 21-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Midlothian Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lovejoy, they will face off against Wakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakeland will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Lovejoy surely won't give up without a fight.
