Rock Canyon entered their tilt with Mullen on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 34-19.

Rock Canyon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Faith Miller and Sophia Bonnstetter. Bonnstetter got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Rock Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Mullen, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Rock Canyon will head out to challenge Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mullen, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 34-26 loss against Cherry Creek on the 13th.
