Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Eagles vs. MacArthur Generals

The Eisenhower Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the MacArthur Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eisenhower took on Benjamin Davis on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 44-32 to the Falcons. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Eisenhower's loss came about despite a quality game from Alyirah Lee, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Lee is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kasidee Lee, who posted six points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, MacArthur played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Nimitz, falling 49-12. The Generals were down 44-9 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.

Eisenhower strolled past MacArthur when the teams last played back in December of 2025 by a score of 61-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
