Hayden put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat the Topeka Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Hayden pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Topeka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hayden will welcome Bishop Ward on Tuesday. As for Topeka, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West on the 14th.
