Football Recap: Ardmore Skates Past Harrah with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ardmore). They claimed a resounding 66-28 win over the Harrah Panthers. With the Tigers ahead 52-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ardmore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Da'Rai Washington, who rushed for 56 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. Washington is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another signal caller making a difference was K'DRIEN MILLER, who threw for 123 yards and two TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ardmore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 428 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Harrah lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Callan Whitnah, who rushed for 71 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 139 yards and one touchdown. Brock Day was another key back, rushing for 97 yards and one TD.

The victory (which was Ardmore's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for Harrah, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.
