Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Blue Ridge Christian Warriors

Heritage Christian is 2-8 against Blue Ridge Christian since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Heritage Christian Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Blue Ridge Christian Warriors at 8:00 p.m.

Heritage Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Cornerstone Family back in December of 2024 (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Heritage Christian was outmatched by Cornerstone Family and fell 64-29. The Eagles were down 56-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge Christian can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 56-15 win over Outreach Christian. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Heritage Christian's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Blue Ridge Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Heritage Christian took their win against Blue Ridge Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 42-20. Does Heritage Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Blue Ridge Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
