Soccer Recap: North Grand Starts Season with Loss at Home

North Grand unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Westinghouse Warriors on Thursday. North Grand were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Westinghouse apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

North Grand and Westinghouse will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time North Grand sees the pitch they'll take on Steinmetz College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on April 3. As for Westinghouse, their break will end when they face Phoenix Military at 4:30 p.m. on April 3.
