Football Recap: Butler County Takes a Loss

Butler County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 35-14 to the Adair County Indians. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 42-12 to the Indians when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Butler County's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Adair County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Butler County will host Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Adair County, they will head out on the road to square off against Campbellsville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
