Baseball Recap: San Dimas Gets the Win

San Dimas got themselves on the board against Colony on Monday, but Colony never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Titans. This was a revenge game for the Saints: when they faced off against the Titans back in April, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

The result came thanks to Dean Brosterhouse's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Vaughn Coleman was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

The victory made it two in a row for San Dimas and bumps their season record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Colony, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-6.

San Dimas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
