Mayfield had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Middleburgh Knights on Tuesday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Mayfield was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 12-25, 25-20, 25-12.

Mayfield's win bumped their record up to 5-11-3. As for Middleburgh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mayfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Mekeel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Middleburgh will take on rival Schoharie at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
