Basketball Recap: Collegiate Charter School of Lowell Comes Up Short

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell lost against Lowell Catholic back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell Wolves fell just short of the Lowell Catholic Crusaders by a score of 31-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wolves have suffered since February 8, 2024.

Lowell Catholic was led to victory by Leticia Castro and Brooke Matthews. Castro posted 13 points, while Matthews had 13 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Castro has scored at least a third of Lowell Catholic's points.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Lowell Catholic, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell will face off against Lowell Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lowell Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 42-31 loss against Medford on the 24th.
