Basketball Game Preview: Wawasee Warriors vs. Tippecanoe Valley Vikings

Wawasee is 2-8 against Tippecanoe Valley since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wawasee Warriors will be playing at home against the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Wawasee came up short against Plymouth and fell 52-43.

Despite their loss, Wawasee saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Emerson Krull, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 10 points, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance gave Krull a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lucy Wilkinson, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tippecanoe Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 45-38 win over Kokomo on Saturday.

The victory got Tippecanoe Valley back to even at 10-10. As for Wawasee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7.
