Softball Recap: Coral Shores Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Coral Shores's offense. They lost 24-0 to the Miami Christian Victors on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Hurricanes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Coral Shores dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Miami Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Coral Shores will take on Somerset Academy South Homestead at 3:30 p.m. on March 13th. As for Miami Christian, they will face off against St. Brendan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Brendan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
