Volleyball Recap: Rawlins Comes Up Short

Rawlins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Burns Broncs. The Outlaws were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Rawlins started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-18.

Rawlins' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Burns, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rawlins will challenge Douglas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burns, they will square off against Buffalo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
