Baseball Recap: Floyd Central Jaguars vs. Paintsville Tigers
Floyd Central had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 14-12 to make it four. They lost 9-1 to the Paintsville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.
Floyd Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolten Crum, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
As for Paintsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Considering they have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
