Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tulelake). They walked away with a 75-62 victory over the Surprise Valley Hornets on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Honkers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Tulelake's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Surprise Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Tulelake will take on Trinity in a tournament on Thursday. The Honkers will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Surprise Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Burney at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
