Baseball Recap: New Site Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, New Site couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Hamilton Lions by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-3 loss on Friday.

Landon Stanley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Glen Ashton Jumper, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

New Site's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-9. As for Hamilton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11 record this season.

As of now, neither New Site nor Hamilton have any future games scheduled.
