Softball Recap: Nokomis Redskins vs. Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm
Nokomis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm, falling 10-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redskins of the 10-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Ella Huelson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season. Faith Morrison was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
