Magdalena waltzed into their contest on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Cimarron Rams. 15 seems to be a good number for the Steers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Joseph Zamora and Ayden Herschbach did most of the damage at the plate: Zamora went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Herschbach went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Montoya, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Magdalena always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cimarron only posted an OBP of .167.

Magdalena's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Cimarron, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Magdalena will challenge Grady at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cimarron, they will take on Logan at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.73 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
