Basketball Recap: Walnut Springs Has No Trouble Against Iredell

Walnut Springs hadn't done well against Iredell recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Walnut Springs Hornets took down the Iredell Dragons 49-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-22 back in December of 2024.

Walnut Springs has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Iredell, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bluff Dale the next time they take the court. Walnut Springs will host Bluff Dale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Iredell will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
