Volleyball Recap: Golden State Prep Comes Up Short

Golden State Prep lost against Leadership back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Golden State Prep lost 3-0 to Leadership. Golden State Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Golden State Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-23, 25-12.

Golden State Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Leadership, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Golden State Prep and Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Leadership, they will head out to face off against Mare Island Tech Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
