Soccer Game Preview: St. Paul Catholic vs. Naugatuck

St. Paul Catholic hasn't had much luck against Naugatuck recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Greyhounds at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While St. Paul Catholic's victory against Oxford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 2-1. That's two games straight that St. Paul Catholic have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Naugatuck kept a clean sheet against Wolcott on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Eagles. Considering Naugatuck have won 14 matches by more than three goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Paul Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-3 record this season. As for Naugatuck, their record is now 16-0.
