It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Friendly Patriots ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They snuck past Surrattsville with a 79-74 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Friendly's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ammanuel Bisrat led the charge by scoring 20 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bisrat has scored all season. Maddox Graham was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Friendly is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Surrattsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

As for Surrattsville, they will face off against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 277 points over their last four games.
