Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. North Posey Vikings

The Princeton Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the North Posey Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Princeton turned things around against North Knox on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Warriors out 54-51. The win was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Warriors are ranked 64th).

Meanwhile, North Posey entered their tilt with Pike Central on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chargers 48-19. That looming 48-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

North Posey pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Princeton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Princeton couldn't quite finish off North Posey when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 48-45. Can Princeton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
