Schalmont unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 27-8 fall against the Glens Falls Black Bears on Friday. The Sabres have struggled against the Black Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
