Softball Recap: Desert Heights Prep Comes Up Short

Desert Heights Prep managed to slip by Antelope the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Desert Heights Prep came up short against Antelope on Friday, falling 20-4. The Yote were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Desert Heights Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bayli Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Desert Heights Prep is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Antelope, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

While Desert Heights Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
