White County has gone 9-1 against Cumberland County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will square off against the Jets at 5:30 p.m. White County will be strutting in after a victory while Cumberland County will be coming in after a loss.

White County took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Monterey by a score of 6-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Mabry Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks. Those hits were her first of the season.

At the plate, Anna McCulley was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Hannah Poteet was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

McCulley wasn't the only one making solid contact: White County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Cumberland County's offense. They came up short against Stone Memorial on Monday, falling 18-0. The Jets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Cumberland County's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for White County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

White County took their win against Cumberland County in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
