Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paraclete). They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Castaic Coyotes on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spirits as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Antonio Longobardi was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Paraclete's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 3-9 when he doesn't). Jesse Hernandez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Paraclete's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Castaic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Paraclete will face off against Royal at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Castaic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Bonaventure at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
